Porsche using Gybow Technology

Photographer: Yve Assad
In collaboration with Gybow Studio & Maground

This project was a great opportunity for The LAB by Fixip to collaborate closely with Yve Assad, directly on set at the Gybow studio in Los Angeles. Yve selected images that initially presented a real challenge — overcast skies combined with a vivid-colored car, a combination that’s typically tricky to balance in post-production.

Unlocking Flexibility with Gybow

Thanks to Gybow technology, there was full control over what was projected onto the vehicle. This allowed for precise lighting and atmosphere, enabling a moody, cinematic look without compromising image sharpness or detail. The flexibility of Gybow significantly reduced the complexity of post-production. What would usually be a demanding process became smooth and efficient, showcasing the potential of this hybrid approach between CGI and photography.

A Pleasure to Work With.

Gybow continues to be a powerful tool for creative and technical expression. Projects like this highlight how enjoyable and effective this technology is both during production and in the retouching phase.

On-Set Presence as a Key Advantage.

Being present on set from the beginning made it possible to anticipate post-production needs early on, ensuring a highly streamlined workflow and faster delivery.

A Distinctive Visual Result

Yve Assad’s creative direction, combined with the visual flexibility offered by Gybow and the technical precision of The LAB by Fixip, resulted in a series of images with a strong, moody atmosphere and a refined, cinematic finish that stands out within the automotive visual landscape.
